Dolphins Work Out Former Jets And Lions Center Wesley Johnson

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Dolphins are working out center Wesley Johnson this morning.

Johnson was released by the Lions in final cuts this summer. He was originally a fifth-round pick of the Steelers.

He started 15 games for the Jets last year, and would give the Dolphins the kind of immediate fill-in they need.

Ya know the 4QB "thing" is gonna haunt Gase -- looked like a bad decision now it just stinks... You can never have too much OL depth and we can't find anyone on a teams PS worthy of making our (weak) roster?

How crazy is that? You'd rather keep 2 extra QBs behind your starter and backup when your starting OL has veteran guys over 30 with injury histories?

Absurd! What was the contingency plan for something like this happening? If Gase, said he didn't consider that those guys could be lost for the season then he's in really bad shape as an HC.

He of all people should know your offense lives and dies with the OL. Especially when your QB is okay and not elite.

Unless we working something else out that can play guard (which we should be doing) pretty much tells you they don’t plan on moving Larsen to the pivot right now.

Who knows who they activate this week with young on the game day roster. That cat may not even be in the building right now.
