it depends on the player garrard was cut for money reasons and was cut late so team will prob sign him after this week, croyle was cut cause they didnt want him. Neither Croyle or garrard are any worse options than Matt moore and Garrard is much better
 
I dont want to stir the pot, but why bring in Croyle when we can just get Gerrard..SMFH

first off garrard thinks he should start in this league...i doubt you get him to come in for one year at backup money til he's exhausted all his opportunities to do better for himself...2nd garrard if he did come here would put unnecessary pressure on henne...like big brother over his shoulder just waiting for him to make a mistake...3rd garrards average at best anyways and can't stay healthy with no upside...

as for croyles as good as matt moore i can't disagree more...croyles downright incompetent...matt moores not a terrible nfl backup

ride with henne and matt moore...if you get an injury then maybe if garrards out there you see if he's interested...but don't expect him to make much difference if he does play...garrards another mediocre at best qb long past his prime...if you end up having to go to garrard your seasons over already any ways...waste of money and time imo

ive watched Moore and Croyle play not sure how u summized that Moore is a decent backup and Croyle is god awful. neither player has beena good qb to this point and Moore was just as awful last year in Carolina as Croyle has ever been. As for garrard he knws after the season has started he is not going to walk into a starting qb job. You say he is average which is better than henne has ever been and way better than Moore will ever be. I dont see how signing a competent NFl qb is ever a bad idea.

0-10 Broyle never came close to Moore's 5game and 4-1 record (half of Carolina's total wins) for a mediocre team when he threw up a better than 98QBR and an 8 to 2 TD/INT ratio. So we know he's got that capability. Croyle just has always sucked and that's why after his first season of 0-6, he rarely saw the field. Comparing Croyle to Moore is like comparing one of your old favorites you used to champion, the guy who's now been cut by 3 teams and is presently unemployed Trent Edwards to Rex Grossman... hell even to Beck who's #1B on a professional roster, for that matter

Now Garrard, that's another story, but please don't let your hatred for anything Fins totally blind your objectivity when it comes to comparing Crody Broyle to anything other than a doorknob.

as per the usual...we don't agree...garrard was average 2 years ago...to me at this stage he's better suited as a backup and if i recall correctly in jags camp they said he couldn't hit the backside of a barn this year...

waste of money...not a guy who will get you over the hump so yet another waste of time
 
He has no talents... That's fine... This is why he was there for a WORKOUT... Nothing more, nothing less....
 
Do we need another less than mediocre QB? I thought they only wanted 2 QBs to save room on the roster. Devlin is at least the 2nd best QB on this team right now. Anyway, this organization doesn't know what they are doing when it comes to QB, that's why we never win.
