Dolphins workout G Reggie Wells & CB Nate Jones

Jones was a good nickel corner and a gifted blitzer. We could use him tonight against the Patriots. Hasn't he had injury issues in Denver, though?
 
damn...bring back nate jones...we should have never let him go in the first place...i liked me some nate jones...

OK so if Nate was to return, who is at risk of getting axed? Carroll? Sapp? Jimmy Wilson?

Wells generated light interest on the open market after underperforming in parts of eight games last season. Still just two years removed from being a 16-game starter for the Cardinals, it wouldn't be surprising to see Wells make the team based on his versatility. He can play both guard spots and right tackle.

The phrase "beat like a drum" is used around this guy a lot. If preseason is any indication, on the right side of our line that would be considered an upgrade.
 
one thing about nate jones...i don't recall seeing his name on the down to 53 final cuts lists with denver...so whats up with him being let go so early??? injury??? or maybe i overlooked it...

denver may have just wanted to get out from his money...
 
Why would a team like Carolina, who is in DESPERATE need of DB's not be on someone like jones? Especially with #1 waiver priority.

I loved him to. For a guy who supposedly should have never seen the field other than as a ST gunner, he was so vital for us in 2008-09 winning the division. That being said, the Broncos gave both him and Andre Goodman (another guy I loved while here) WAY too much
 
I am definitely all for bringing back Nate Jones,make it happen Ireland!!!
