Like I said....If they replaced him....no problem....but they didn't. It will be tough to move on when you see our WR core perform this year. Maybe you can move on easily year to year with a below avg team....Im not happy about it.

What incidents? I must have missed all those times Chad Johnson was in trouble with the law, or being suspended from games due to off the field incidents.
You're misunderstand the whole argument. I'm not saying Johnson is as good or better than Marshall (right now. In his prime, he absolutely is). What I'm saying is that you're entered some sort of honeymoon period in regards to Marshall and just what he did to this team.
Again, you're not verifying anything you say/post with facts or links. It's getting old. Have some pride in your argument. Dont sit there and accuse me of claiming to have "towelboys in the lockerrooms" and other inflammatory nonsense and then just move on when called out on the sheer ridiculousness of it.
I'm sorry that you don't seem to grasp that the actual game of football is not like it is on Madden 2012 on your Xbox, Mr. GM. Brandon Marshall will be replaced. It takes more than a season to transition to a new system. This is as silly as saying WHY DID WE TRADE OUR 2nd ROUND THIS YEAR FOR A 1ST NEXT YEAR? I WANT MY RESULTS NOW!
You want an immediate return on an investment which is just silly. You have to give it at least 2 years, when we can see if one of the players brought in even this very draft step up and impress.
Will Brandon Marshall be missed on the field? Absolutely. Was he a game changing dominant WR? Heavens no. Was he a headache? Most certainly. Do we have to replace him this season? I think considering we just picked up our (potential): Franchise QB, franchise RT, another running back to the RB by committee approach we are running, and made some moves to improve our passing game outside of the WR position... I think it might be a little bit too early to start going off on tangents just yet.

Actually he SHOULD have gotten us more wins. How many damn potential game winning TD drops did he have in close games? You can choose to avoid the obvious here, but he was definitely one of our least clutch players last season. Putting up big numbers is one thing, doing it when the game is on the line is another story. Brandon, while a good talented receiver, never seemed to come up with the big play when it mattered. Isn't that what a number one receiver should do especially if you are going to blame others for your miscues?
Oh, and please try to come up with a meaningful response besides the typical "homer" BS argument. Thank you!

Im not looking up the nonsense you wrote before....we've been down this road. Im also not forcing yo to read up on a guy youare in love with in Chad....besides what you know and Ive wrote about it on this thread alone. But bringing in another has been loser is not the brightest move....and one we wouldnt make with BM here.

To make sense in this debate you definitely have to come up with something better.....I don't give a **** about stats.....catch the ball when your team is counting on you.....make a game changing play, be clutch....I'd rather be developing our own recievers then waste one more play with BM
