Can anyone say playoffs '07?
Just wondering: how do you all seriously come on here and criticize our WRs(Chambers in particular) when we have the worst QBs behind center every year. I honestly see Chris Chambers as our best receiver and the probably the best the Dolphins have ever had. I mean sure we had the mark brothers, and mcduffie, etc but I would take Chambers over any past receiver or current receiver the Dolphins currently have. There have been multiple threads talking about trading Chambers or cutting him because he hasn't produced but can he really produce more than what he has with our horrid QB play. Everyone says Welker was our best receiver this year, and Booker is so consistent but for some reason because they are not at the number 1 receiver spot, nobody seems to remember their big drops(3rd downs also-mainly Booker) or big mistakes and mishaps.
And our so called "best" receiver this year, Welker, didnt even put up big numbers or anywhere near big numbers so I dont get what was so interesting about watching him play. I would trade Welker in a minute because he is only a somewhat mediocre kick/punt returner and medicore receiver. For some reason, you all seem to call him fast because you see his little legs pumping so hard because he is so short but he isnt going anywhere.
But all I ask is that before you really judge great players like Chris Chambers, you give him a real chance with a real QB who doesnt just throw the ball in his direction to throw it away (Like Harrington). Hopefully Culpepper will be able to bounce back from a bad four games last season and have a full recover form his injury and show us what he can really do then maybe you can really evaluate Chambers' performance.
