Just wondering: how do you all seriously come on here and criticize our WRs(Chambers in particular) when we have the worst QBs behind center every year. I honestly see Chris Chambers as our best receiver and the probably the best the Dolphins have ever had. I mean sure we had the mark brothers, and mcduffie, etc but I would take Chambers over any past receiver or current receiver the Dolphins currently have. There have been multiple threads talking about trading Chambers or cutting him because he hasn't produced but can he really produce more than what he has with our horrid QB play. Everyone says Welker was our best receiver this year, and Booker is so consistent but for some reason because they are not at the number 1 receiver spot, nobody seems to remember their big drops(3rd downs also-mainly Booker) or big mistakes and mishaps.

And our so called "best" receiver this year, Welker, didnt even put up big numbers or anywhere near big numbers so I dont get what was so interesting about watching him play. I would trade Welker in a minute because he is only a somewhat mediocre kick/punt returner and medicore receiver. For some reason, you all seem to call him fast because you see his little legs pumping so hard because he is so short but he isnt going anywhere.

But all I ask is that before you really judge great players like Chris Chambers, you give him a real chance with a real QB who doesnt just throw the ball in his direction to throw it away (Like Harrington). Hopefully Culpepper will be able to bounce back from a bad four games last season and have a full recover form his injury and show us what he can really do then maybe you can really evaluate Chambers' performance.

you say welker didnt put up big numbers but compare them to chambers` numbers or the rest of our recievers and the other 3rd recievers in the league and i think that you will find that his numbers are actually quite commendable and certainly good and far above average compared to other players at 3rd reciever and even our own recievers. and not to mention that welker still has the same QB as chambers no different, and still welker has put up outstanding numbers for a 3rd reciever and was clearly better than most if not all our other recievers this past season.

Chambers wasn't our best WR last year, and too say best ever thats laughable, if not disrespectible to say our best receiver ever.
Marty Booker Lead in Yards Receiving, Avg/Reception & Touchdowns.
Wes Welker lead in Receptions as a 3rd Receiver
Chris Chambers, lead in opportunity to make a play & not make it....

I like CC a lot. He would make an awesome #2 receiver. He is at best an OK #1. How many db's do you hear say Chambers strikes fear in their heart like the other great #1's?....zero! He has way to many drops, that people tend to forgive and forget because he will make the ocassional hi-lite catch that few can make. I would love to see him teamed up with a real #1 receiver, because he would lite it up then. He is not the most fluid guy and makes up for a lot with raw athleticism. He is the best receiver on the team right now, but you got to be kidding me about the best in Dolphins history....um no.

i like welker but he's not our best rec, we need speed so teams can't doublee chambers, when they do that our other rec's don't get of the line fast,

The best receiver in Dolphin's history is Paul Warfield.

I would give Chambers all the chance in the world if he were worth the time. If he was going to do something with the Dolphins he would have done it already. I see nothing wrong with wanting to upgrade WR talent.

Make sure u remember the part about this being my "OPINION." I would take Chambers over any receiver in fin history. Yes there are some good ones in the mix of our history but I would take Chris Chambers over them because when they were good, they all had a QB that could make good passes (for example: Dan Marino), but Chambers is yet to have a QB who is good. Welker did produce better than other 3rd string receivers but I am not looking at him as a 3rd stringer right now but just as a reciever because everyone is comparing him to the other receivers on our team as if he is really better than them. An stats do show that Chambers had the most passes thrown to him but the least catches out of the 3 of them but stats also show that he had the most worst thrown passes his way, either thrown too far, too short, out of bounds, etc. Name a WR on the dolphins who had a bad QB or a QB close to the low level of the QBs to throw to Chambers and was still able to excel or you would categorize as better then Chambers.

Chambers is not even the best receiver on the roster now... I don't think there is another human around that would have made the comment that he is the best ever...

Because they are all closed minded individuals and think Chambers should be able to adjust to a ball that is thrown 10 feet above his head and 10 feet infront of him

I agree with the main point of the thread which is that we need to focus on getting a QB, a good QB would make our WRs look better no doubt
