Dolphins’ Williams And Baker Named NFL Europe League Players Of The Week
The Dolphins’ Williams won his second consecutive Defensive Player of the Week Award for his two-sack, 10-tackle performance in the Thunder’s 23-20 loss to the F.C. Barcelona Dragons in Berlin on Saturday. The defensive end, who also recorded one forced fumble, leads NFL Europe with seven sacks on the season, six coming in his last two games.

Baker, Williams’ teammate in Miami, captured Special Teams Player of the Week honors with a 91-yard punt return in the final two minutes of Frankfurt’s loss. The runback, the second longest punt return in NFL Europe history (97, Larry Ryans, WR, Rhein vs. Berlin, 6/19/99), put the Galaxy ahead 24-20, setting up Hill’s heroics. Baker finished the game with 107 return yards and added two receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown.

Exactly..but can he play inside like Burnett?? Hmmm

Based on the guy's background, it does seem doubtful that the light has all the sudden clicked on for this guy. If he is NFL quality now, its because he's on roids or sold his soul to the devil.

The guy was a 6th round draft pick in 1998 despite having 18.5 sacks for the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 97 (tied for lead in sacks in nation), but it was mainly because he ran like a 5.0 in the 40 when he weighed like 265-270 lbs. Now he weighs more like 280 lbs. He's bounced around 6 NFL teams including us (Jags, Seahawks, Chiefs, Vikings, Rams), and he's only played in 1 regular season game with the Jags but he did play in two post-season games with the Jags. The guy is at least 28 cuz I believe he was born in 1974. He's been out of college 5 years and its just hard to imagine a defensive end going from camp fodder for 5 years, to being a passrush presence all the sudden after that long. Its not like the learning curve for DE is that big.

Selling his soul to the devil is just fine.

Well all people are different. It is unlikely but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.
