I'll always respect Jay Fiedler the competitor as much as I strongly dislike Jay Fielder the starting QB of the Miami Dolphins. He'd of been a damn good backup.
 
Dude had heart, but the physical skills weren't there....once that rotator cuff went in 2000, that noodle arm got even noodlier.

But...he did have things going and didn't always make dumb decisions. Had he not broken his thumb in half during that Denver game in 2002, we probably get a 1st round bye, especially with Ricky and the running game.

Alas, Ray Lucas playing double agent really sunk that year for us, big time.

It really didn’t get much worse than Ray Lucas. Man was he terrible

Haha probably. What’s that? A bad qb on a division rival and still beats us twice? I’ve heard this one before...
 
I have a ton of respect for that dude.

He never tried to be anything greater than what he was, he certainly exceeded his limited talents. Great competitor, like someone else said, high quality back up.

Classic coach's kid, who happened to also go to Dartmouth.

Lemon was terrible, but he was terrible on a terrible team. What made Lucas extra bad was the fact that he wasted pretty much our potentially 2002 season with his performance while Fiedler was out.

Wow thanks for reminding me just how long we have been having crappy no name QB's have the games of their career against us and only us every year....
 
John beck was very bad as well
