Phillip Wheeler has agreed to terms with Oakland. He would've been an upgrade over Misi so I don't know what the hell Ireland is doing!!

Because you don't 'upgrade' an average player with a just slightly better than that player if you have to overpay. You should be happy about this non-signing. I'm going to guess the Raiders overpaid. Stop thinking that every time the Dolphins have someone visit it means they're going to sign him, it doesn't.

Phins won't sign another FA until after the draft. Once they see what holes are left after draft then they may sign other FAs to low cost, one-year contracts

Glad we didn't overpay for this guy. He's not that good.

hmmm let me see... "Agenda"

Agenda option one... if we sign a FA, we overpaid and it's irelands fault.

Agenda option two... if we don't sign a FA, we lowballed and lost out on a FA, and it's irelands fault.

Meh, not a huge loss, but would have been decent depth considering we have another thug on our team in the LB corps. Probably a good idea to wait until the draft considering more holes keep being created. How many picks do we have again?

Come on. I doubt you really knew who Philip Wheeler was or had ever watched him play before we started pursuing him.

Teams lose out on free agents all the time.

Philip Wheeler was not going to make or break us and I don't think he would be an upgrade over Misi

good depth, shame we never got him, ah well off to the draft............

Some people on this board really overrated Wheeler. He is a slightly below average lb.

building through the draft is how the top echelon teams do it. too bad we have bozo the clown making the picks. this team is gonna be a perennial loser with ireland making the decisions in regards to the draft. sad stuff man.

I don't know if I like the idea of completely abandoning free agency, but it's clear too many people put too much into it
