Woooooohaaaaa!!!! I'm going to see Don Shula! He's coming to my school, the University of Texas at Austin to lecture about coaching. It's gonna be sooooooo damn cool!! Do you guys want me to ask him anything? I'll probably post some pictures. He's coming on Friday, on Halloween lol. This is a double bonus for me since my major is sports management. :D I'm so excited!

Who on here actually saw the "hook and ladder" play live? Damn it must have been crazy seeing that.

I was watching the SD "Hook and Lateral" game. IT was wild, but, crushing at the same time. Nothing I'd like you to ask, but, if you get the chance, could you please tell him, that "The fans say thank you."

I'm gonna be loud and proud baby! I will tell him about all the fans here on finheaven. The best fans in the world! (I'll be wearing my jersey of course)
. I relay the message back to you guys :D

Hey goonboss I just saw that you live in Texas. Why don't you come to Austin? I have an extra pass.

I'm bumping my own thread. I can't believe no one is interested in Don Shula! No one bothers to respond. Come on guys.

I wish I could! I mostly talked to Dave and Mike, but they all seemed very nice.At the time I was vacationing. We moved down to Ft. Pierce in 77 for 2 yrs, then later I was in the Navy for 2 more 83 and 84 (Pensacola) and the last time I lived the was Vero Beach in 95! I loved it, but I just couldn't handle the heat all the time.

His grandkids went to my high school. He would be at every football game treated like the VIP he is. I never talked to him because he was there to watch hids grandkids play. Closest thing I ever said to him was to someone who was holding back the crowd to let Mr Shula threw so he could get down to the field.
