Don Shula rolling over in his grave….

Dam, I wasted 24 years of my life. We won't win any til Ross sells the team. Guy is just cursed.

I said at the beginning of the season if we did not win at least one playoff game this year then the season is a failure. We are basically right back where we started despite tanking in 2019-2020. Despite huge draft capital, despite making huge trades for studs like tyreek, Chubb and Ramsey. We went for it and still ended up where we always do. Collapsing towards the end of the season and getting our butts whooped. It does get old. This coaching staff and group of players are not any different. All thr flashy pro bowl and stat leader accolades doesn't mean anything if we still fail our goals and I bet the players and coaches feel the same way. So yeah it's the same ol dolphins.
You are correct. And this comedian / fashionista as a head coach is gonna wear off FAST.

Don Shula retired because he was losing way more playoff games than he was winning and his last loss was to a Buffalo team that he was never able to beat in the postseason and struggled to beat them with any regularity in the regular season.

Let’s not romanticize this. This organization hasn’t been great since Shula started to let the modern game pass him by.
Ehhhh. You realize in the 90’s we were the only team in the AFC that consistently challenged Buffalo / gane them any real trouble? That Bills team was a dynasty - doesn’t matter they didn’t win a SB. They waltzed through the AFC with ease similar to what the Pats did years later. They had HOF and all pro guys up and down the lineup. The game didn’t pass Shula by. The better team won when it mattered - like what, you know, usually happens in pro sports come crunch time.

Point taken BUT Shula at his worst was better by far than the majority of Miami coaches that followed him. Based on game passing Shula by then many of choices since Shula never showed up for the game.

Shula is supposedly the best coach of all time and Marino is supposedly the best QB of all time yet the two couldn't get a single ring together.

Shula is a dinosaur long forgotten. His football era was many eons ago.
You should banned from the site for life!

What do you consider to be “dark?”

In 26 years as Dolphins HC there were two losing seasons…6-8 in 1976 and 6-10 in 1988.
This is unreal. I need to exit this thread. Guys really criticizing Don Shula - the winningest coach of all time? It’s cuckoo for coco puffs in here...

Speaking only for myself, I think it's already started to wear.

Same with anyone though, winning cures all ills and no one's schtick works without success.

But the talk of firing him is just silly talk.
