Everyone remember how this guy couldn't CATCH a cold playing with our QB's? He goes to Green Bay where he has a good QB and he never drops anything. I know i've seen Chamber's, McMike, and Booker drop EASY passes, but for some reason i do believe if we had a real QB they wouldn't be missing them. For some odd reason Gus is still the one to blame for the drops, even the easy ones.

Lee was by far the best player we cut in camp. I thought it was a mistake at the time and said so. By the same token, I can understand the thinking because he's botched a few in preseason to go along with last year. As we've seen Linehan by base instinct would rather pass than run so Lee gets the short end of that priority scheme.

I still don't understand the posts here that insisted Lee was a pathetic player. His blocking skill and intensity are very rare and he has the speed and athletic ability to split the seam. Never going to be a star receiving TE but for a team of our personnel level to release him was poor handicapping.

I have to agree. I was very disappointed when we released him. Did not make sense to me due to the fact that we had (still don't) noone better. His ONLY weakness was his receiving skills but we have Randy McMichael to take care of those duties. Also, that is something that can be improved.

Lee definately looks good this season for GB. Not sure how the QB had anything to with him not catching the ball for us, but hey, I'll blame Gus! Must be his fault.

It surprises me when Gus actually hits someone in the numbers. It must be surprising to everyone trying to catch his passes when he puts one on target therefore they drop the easy ones.:D

Honestly Lee became expendable when McMichael became a flat out better blocker than Donald was. Donald was always a good blocker, and very athletic in releasing in the passing game. But his hands were so unreliable and fearful that we just had to settle for him as a blocker. Once McMichael became the better blocker between the two of them, there was no longer much of a reason to try and wait for him to develop some kind of ability to not drop the ball all the time. I probably would have preferred to keep Lee too, but I'm not going to pretend he didn't have plenty of chances to stay a Dolphin.

Very good. Even seems to have some ability after the catch.
