Apparently you didn't watch the game Monday night. All the other TE's on the roster played better than Lee.

I did watch the game. Diamond played better than Lee. Rader made 2 catches for 5 yds. McMike didn't have a catch. Alex Holmes looked like an OLineman. Lee had the 2nd best night. And he seemed to be Frerotte's favorite target. We will keep 3 TE's and Lee is IMHO probably one of them. McMike-Diamond-Lee

Donald Lee is a coach-killer.

The sooner he's out of the league, the more coaches can keep their sanity, and their jobs.

Coach-killer? The dude is a blocking tight end. He would fit prefectly in Pittsburgh or any other team with a run first offense.

He was Frerotte's favorite target because he was always open. Even when he was open he dropped passes.

There has never be an argument about his "talent"... but catching every 2nd ball doesnt cut in a league of professionals.

So that's it? He's going to get cut? What about all of the "talented" o-lineman that we have that are going supposedly to turn into pro-bowlers under Houck's tutelage. The same chance will not be given to Lee?

He does have talent and needs the benefit of more experience and good coaching. He will not be cut.

Or take it one step futher...

Maybe teams actually scheme to leave Lee open hoping we throw it to him because they know it will be a waste of a down...

Great one!:rofl3: That's kind of in line with my theory on why the fins should have tried to arrange a trade to get Fiedler and Wanny to go to a division rival. Oh well, at least ears is on the Jets. Still, i know if we could just get Wanny on the Pats staff somewhere, we could easly topple that franchise. But I digress...

After seeing Diamond play I dont think there is any way that he makes the team. I like the Farmer guy better, at least I didnt see him drop a freaking ball. I dont care how good of an athlete he is if he cant catch he is useless.

Farmer is a WR.

Have I ever mentioned Donald Lee?

I think one of the lineman have a better chance at making the team as a TE, than Lee has!

He was supposed to be a good blocking TE with very good hands coming out of college. He must have lefts his hands in the dorm because he sure aint catchin here. He also has a knack for that untimely penalty.

Cut his (_)_)

LOL " Im open! I open!!!"

More like

Lee.......I'm open, I'm open.

Some Qb in Canada.........You've been open since the NFL. There is a reason you were open too. It was a running play. You were supposed to be blocking numnut.

The drops are bad enough, but how many penalties did he have last year. When Lee's in the game the QBs aren't shouting hut hut hut. They're screaming cut cut cut!

He certainly has athletic ability, but a lot of blocking TE's are big fatties but are reasonably sure handed cause they won't get the ball the next time if they don't catch it. Jermaine Wiggins isn't an athletic guy, but he had success catching the ball last year.
