Starting right guard Donald Thomas hobbled into the quiet Dolphins locker Monday afternoon with a boot on his left and crutches underneath his arms.
With few players making themselves available to the media, he might as well have been wearing a bullseye.
After being attacked by the media horde, Thomas, the rookie sixth-rounder out of UConn, said he twisted his ankle in the second quarter Sunday against the Jets and is “just taking precautions.” He said he hopes to practice Wednesday when the Dolphins return to the field, and when asked if he would play Sunday, said, “Yeah, hopefully.”

Was he the player who left the field injured? You don't get the information when you are at the game. And since they don't list his backup, who replaced him?

Thomas said it happened in the 2nd quarter and he played through it the rest of the game. I'm guessing he'll be ready this week.

He best be ready
we need him. He had a nice preseason and id hate to see him go down. the boy is big and he looks like hes going to be a solid G in the league

get we lll soon

taking precautions, i've been through that also

had a charlie horse once and didn't practice all week to get ready for the semi-finals... had the game of my life, i'm not bothered

the guy is tough and if he played 2 quarters through the pain, he'll be able to play next sunday

he got punished this week, he won the starting job because there were nothing but bums competing with him and he "looked good" because it was preseason, but now we are seeing the real donald thomas.. and why he was a 6th rd pick.

A jets DL noted without prompting how good Thomas looked. The right side looked a lot better than the left yesterday. He stood up the IL on a blitz on one play that was just amazing. Our own NT raved about his strength calling him heavy. This is a compliment not a remark about his weight. Considering the kid has only 3 years of organized football cut him some slack.
