Just Read the Palm beach blog that Donald Thomas will need surgery for a mid arch injury, sounds like the dreaded Lis Franc injury. God I hope he recovers from it.

Doc tell us about this injury- what's the rehab, are there orthotics to alleviate pressure while ambulating etc.

I hope he doesn't come back "flat footed".

Why cant things ever go Miamis way. Like seriously it is almost depressing.

-Ronnie Brown was finally reaching full potential last year, down he goes with acl
-Ginn looks like he was starting to reach severe improvement in the pre season.wasnt even looked at sunday
-Pennington had an unbelievable drive under 2....throws it up...lucky pick by Reevis

Very Depressing to be a fins fan. Especially when you read such negativity towards the team and players every day on here.

Man who ever fills in for Thomas has some big shoes to fill...whether it's Ikechuku Ndukwe or whomever...
Sure does stink to lose the brightest spot on the O-line....I'd rather it be anyone else on the team except for Penny, Ricky, Ronnie, Ferguson, Long or Carey.

Fact. It seems our fans love the negativity. The media has helped form the fans to become overly critical. Everyday you get beat over the head from the Herald, 790 or Le Batard about how much we suck. They call it realism but it's a pseudo- realism, more like an addiction to pain.

Is a mid foot injury not mid arch. Here is the article:

Former starting right guard Donald Thomas didn’t just hurt himself Sunday when he suffered a season-ending left foot injury against the Jets.
“I just started to feel comfortable with him,” center Samson Satele said. “To find that out on Monday, it kind of hurt me as much as it hurt him.”
Head coach Tony Sparano said Wednesday that Thomas will have surgery on his left foot, which he injured in the second quarter of Sunday’s loss. Sparano described it as a “mid foot injury.”

Seriously, we can't catch a break. No pun intended. The loss of Thomas is going to be significant, He was very hard to move off the ball and not sure the guys replacing him can hold up well enough.:boohoo:

No big deal... we're replacing him with Dookie.
(Ndukwe)

Then again, maybe it is a really big deal that we're starting a crappy backup.

i actually think this guy could be pretty decent, i haven't heard many negatives about him

Injuries to this area are very slow to heal, besides the three hundred pounds of lineman on top of it. Lets all just pray that the area is not unstable
