Donald Thomas vs Shawn Murphy

i wasn't able to catch the game tonight, just curious as to whether one of these two stood out among each other against actual competition.

neither REALLY stood out,although Murphy had a couple nice run blocks....Id still say Murphy still is the #1 RG....as of now,anyway...

Murphy was horrible during the first possesion, which led to him being replaced. Then Thomas looked really good. They put the backup line in with Murphy I think in the 3rd Quarter. I think that Murphy just lost his job to Thomas.

I think Thomas has regained his starting spot.
He stood out to me. He was just manhandling people.

Well, they sure pointed Thomas out more than Murphy but I'm sure more analysis would be needed to determine who was better.

I think Thomas was better overall, he really moved people off the ball. Murphy had two nice blocks that I saw otherwise he was average. He had a nice block on the Ginn reverse and than on one Hillard run against the third teamers. I'd say round 1 went to Thomas though.

murphy played the first series and Thomas came in for the second. Murphy was back in the third series. I believe they alternated every other series in the first half.

I wouldn't say we're there yet. Yeah we looked great in pass protection but we had a tough time running the ball through the tackles agaisn't their first team.

yeah but we never ran against the jags period with henderson clogging up the middle

I thought Donald looked pretty sharp to me. Murphy looked pretty poopie early. He did better later on, but I believe that was at the time when Jags second string was in there.

I think Donald will start week 1 TBH(yes I know it's early) but i'm just speculating.

Thomas was a monster, im sorrry. Murphy did good to, who ever starts its good to know we have good depth at RG.
