MODS ... Can I please go back to calling him Phailbin?

Failbin works too.

I remember when there was one mod here that got so angry when Sparano was called Morono by everyone here because he believes that Sparano was a good coach until 1 second before he was fired.

the guy is a bum.

112 left, own 30, 3 timeouts left, down 9-0, how do u let the clock run and go into the freaking half content being down 9-0?

at least try and get a god damn fg, u have 3 timeouts left, u can work the entire field with that luxury, but not our idiot coach, too dumb to see that.

Keep hearing so much abouf this fast-paced offense, well where is it?

there is a lot of blame to go around for this led tooss.RT looks average at best our WR droped to many passes.ST allowing a td n a blocked punt along with Phiblin getting out coached once again

At least Sparano had a window to make the playoffs one year and actually managed to do so, and this with a squad that had a fraction of the potentially game-changing talent that the current team has. It was pretty obvious after 2010 he should have been fired and Henne gotten rid of, but I at least wanted to give some benefit of the doubt to a guy who succeeded where Saban and Wannstadt failed to (and of course, Cameron was so terrible he didn't even count).

So you are willing to assume that the best-case scenario is Tannehill throwing a pick-6? Doesn't that say all that needs to be said about Tannehill?

Philbin coached scared and the team played scared. Not the type of head coach you want if you are expecting more than a .500 season.

Exactly! Not so much about what if something goes wrong. Its about believing in your team and that things will go right. Especially since you had a first down with 3 timeouts and decent field position.

Philbin demonstrates a lack of intensity often. Not so great in football. Not even that great at the office let alone in sports. I also have thought he was over his head as a leader since he let Sherman influence the QB of the future based on potential alone.

I never thought Philbin was head coaching material. I think we need a Chip Kelly innovator besides having Lazor running things.
