Donovan McNabb to Dolphins?

I have to completely disagree with those who think McNabb sucks. We are fans of a team who had no identity at QB for years, so to say a QB the likes of McNabb sucks just makes alot of you sound jealous or envious of not having a guy as good as him.

Sometimes credit needs to be given when it is do

The same things could be said about Henne's career at Michigan. He was known as an average guy and choke artist. I'm not sure he'll ever be anywhere near McNabb's talent unfortunately.

Question is, if we were able to swing this trade, would we be able get decent trade value for Thigpen?

I wish someone would just close this thread, because it's completely pointless. It's just foolish to think we would trade for McNabb. I 100% guarantee this is NEVER going to happen.

And dumber and dumber.

I think people really don't give him the credit he deserves . How does a QB with 32,873 passing yards, a QB rating of 86.5 and 216 tds to just 100 Ints suck. That is just his stats passing.
I get to watch plenty of the guy living in an NFC East city. Stats are neat and all, but they don't show the streaky accuracy, the justified effort concerns, his poor decisions in key situations, such as his inability to comeback from deficits and his inability to overcome mistakes in a game. His tend to snowball.

No thanks. I'd rather stick with Henne, Pennington, and Thigpen and use the 2nd round pick to address one of our several remaining deficiencies. QB isn't one of them.

I don't know brother, I think McNabb has been one of the better QBs in the league for the last couple of years.

I don't think this statement is true, unless you are a OSU fan.

I'd put him at top of the mediocre, bottom of the best, if that makes any sense. Every time he starts to change my opinion of him, he throws in a few "i don't give a ****" games. The worst part is that I have to listen to cowboy fans gloat about it for weeks after.

I agree...McNabb is one of those players whose stats don't tell the whole story. He is a WINNER! And that is the bottom line. Could you imagine the Eagles the last 10 years with even just an average QB?

Or a below average one like AJ Feeley?

Henne didn't get us to the playoffs because our defense sucked, and we had a good WR corps ( Hartline, Bess, Camarillo ) but missing the true #1 huge yardage reciever

Parcells does not give up a 2nd or even 3rd for a QB with a great history, but is washed up( LT ).
It just doesn't make sense.
