There is WAY too much in the way of people assuming that Matt Flynn is coming to Miami. It is way too simplistic to state that because of his ties with Philbin that he will automatically come to South Florida.

Seattle, Washington and Cleveland are all fits as well. They have as much, if not more, of a need as Miami. Flynn fits well in all of their systems. In Seattle, John Schneinder is the man who drafted Flynn in Green Bay is now a major part of the Seattle FO in their new direction. Washington is desperate to win NOW and RGIII is not a great fit for what they do. Cleveland is in the need for playmakers and using their recently earned ammo to move 2 spots for RGIII could be counterproductive and signing a Matt Flynn might make more sense.

Also, while i have been on record as saying I DO NOT think the Packers will tag Flynn. If they can sign Finley before the tag deadline, we need to know that a market has been created for Flynn. At point do the Packers reverse field and tag Flynn and get an additional draft choice?

I like Matt Flynn. Take a look at some of the threads I started at the end of the season. However, the competition for him will be fierce and I do not like the idea if it involves giving up compensation for him.

There is a lot of work to be done in signing Flynn, which I think they should do. However, do not start threads about how it is a slam-dunk that Flynn is coming here.

Hell go where he gets paid>

For those of us who don't care for RG3, the scary part of someone else picking up Flynn is he may fall to us in the draft. Flynn may turn out to be a great Pro, but I just can't IMO justify giving up a draft pick(s), and a huge contract based on 2 games. I just can't. I personally would offer to trade back in rounds 1 and 2 with the Cardinals for John Skelton, I'd also look into trading back in rounds 2 and 3 with the Patriots for Mallet.

Hopefully the browns get Flynn and the redskins get Manning. RG3 should drop to us then: )

We can't justify a big contract for Flynn based on two games, but we can justify a big rookie contract based on no games......

Yeah....

RGIII does not fit in a WCO in my opinion. Bad fit.

Mallett??? I'd rather draft Tannehill or Weeden. The WCO needs a QB with some mobility/athletic ability. Besides, when you trade within your division it usually costs more. Why in the world would this FO want to get raped by Bill Bellichick over a flawed prospect like Mallett who has accomplished NOTHING in the NFL.

Miami will be one of the finalists for Flynn. I believe he was part of the pitch Philbin made to Ross. Ross will spend money this offseason and lets be honest, he wanted Palmer. Flynn is younger and has done things in two games I'm not sure Palmer ever has. He's perfect for a WCO.

Flynn is more Schaub than Kolb. Remember that.

It is not a slam dunk we get Flynn but our chances are as good as anybody's unless the Redskins price him completely out of his value.

If Ross wants him and I believe he does, then we will get him. We will pay him and since we have Philbin that adds a boost.

If you don't like Mallet that's fine, but I do. I think he has as much chance at success as the draft prospects you mentioned. If he turns out to be your franchise QB, I don't think it's rape.

Yeah, because Ross ALWAYS gets what he wants. lol.

If Dan Snyder wants him you don't think he throws an over load of cash at him?
