Dont be suprised if...

If Tony Sparano wasn't doing such a good job at losing, I'd want him fired this week at halftime. Would be awesome if he was fired over the speaker system..."Tony, you're services are no longer welcomed-You're fired, now please get the hell off the field."

why would marino leave the cushy confines of TV land to become a QB coach? it doesnt make sense.. he was hired as an executive for Miami once.. that lasted a day or a week maybe.. lol

in general, i worry about coaches who have been away for a while - would they still have the same drive and work ethics after enjoying the pay and benefits of a cushy TV job...

Awesome! mark me down for his first autograph errr second after yours of course :)

yup, i tell him every day i work with em that he has to be our savior!!! and right now he loves football. He was the second biggest kid on his flag football team and is the youngest. flag football goes to 3rd grade around here!!!

Being an executive and being a qb coach are two different jobs. two way different jobs.

i know... but Marino was not your average QB. He was a legend in his time. You think he wouldnt be able to share some type of knowledge onto whoever our QB is next year, especially and hopefully Luck.

If Marino coaches anything like he "coached" the WR's while he was playing...he would have all the QB's sucking their thumbs in a corner in a week...that is IF he didn't outright kill them himself...

Did you ever see how he yelled at the WR's???

I
I would be up for that too. im not saying he even would come back. i didnt mean to make it seem like he would of come back if someone asked him. But i would have at least reached out to him. gave him some type of incentive
For the life of me I do not understand why Zack thomas is not involved in some fashion with the team that guy is an expert of film study. Another reason why Jeff Ireland must go!

Agreed. Some times when people are naturally talented at something, they can't really teach it.

Exactly, there have been numerous players that have been very good as players but when it came to coaching they had no clue..

I feel like some of the worst players usually get elevated to head coaches.

Another example of those who cant do teach.

like the way michael jordan evaluated and then worked with the talent he had when he was with the wizards??

I've been trying to explain that to the girl in your sig.

I dont know why people want Marino in here, wouldnt make much sense. Since he clearly couldn't handle it before and has absolutley no crediblity when evaulating talent. Its kind of like saying that i want Jerry Rice to pick my wideouts just because he was a WR, no basis in him bieng able to do the job.
