Blame Saban, Blame Wanny those two along with a long line of dumb*** roster moves in the end has forced the team in the position to have to let go of Zach. If the team wasn't **** for talent and winning some games Zach would still be a dolphin today.

Blame Wanny for betting all his cards on Toker Williams. Blame quiter Saban for coming in installing a new defense and then leaving everyone to dry. BUT MOST OF ALL BLAME WAYNE HUIZENGA. His oh so comprehensive coaching searches have brought us all these wonderful coaches who have just ended up putting the team in a worst place then when they came.

My heart goes out to Zach because he doesn't get his storybook ending here in the sunny beaches of Miami. I don't have a single thread of hate in my heart for Parcells and Ireland.

im so unhappy with the direction Wayne H. has taken this organization.

He deserves to go to a team with a better chance of winning the SB. I just do not want him to go to the Patriots for obvious reasons. Maybe he can join Strahan in the Giants :)

I totally agree Dolfan5000 especially the part about Wayne H..IMO if we had an owner with more knowledge of the game we would not be the laughing stock of the league and we would still have an identity.

everyone is going to like Wayne H after the Tuna gets through with this team! We have more money to spend then ever and some great draft choices ! I can't wait to get this team back to playoff caliber!First order of business would be to strengthen both Defensive and Offensive line , then QB , then secondary and wide reciever.

He wasn't cut because of $$$ he was cut because his head can't take the game anymore.

Oh stop your crying and bitching. He is football player who is paid millions to play a game. He has a job most of us would give our left nut for. I loved zach but, he is gone now. Now is the time for the next guy to step up. The dolphins will compete again with or without him. Believe me when we are in the super bowl some years from now, you wont forget him but you'll have new guys to root for and be upset by their leaving. Turn over is common place in the NFL. It's just the nature of the game. To be totaly honest we were lucky to have him as long as we did. He will always be one of my favorite dolphins. I hope he gets a ring and is in the hall of fame.

The funny thing about it is that Wayne wants nothing more than to see the Fins win. Sure he made some wrong personnel moves, but in the end, he went out and got Parcells. Would you rather see this team go to someone who doesn't have the money and ends up moving the franchise (dramatic example)? We could be a lot worse off than we are right now. Look at the Raiders...

Why? What I said is truth. It's not crying and bitching sir. Turnover may be common in this league but why is that? Because teams don't perform to par and must make personnel and coaching decisions to cover their *****. I'm not saying Wayne H doesn't try but the guy is all about the dollars and if success comes with that then he's happy... as long as he has his money. If the guy knew a little more about the game the dollars would come and a lot sooner. Yes this is a business but they're fans of this game for more than just success. People grow up watching their parents watch the game and idolize the people on the field or they end up hating them and deciding to be a rival team fan. That or they're local fans. Being a fan means that sometimes people grow a kind of bond with certain players. If you didn't accept this as just how it is and how it's got to be you'd get my point.

I really don't believe that. The guy wanted to sell us when we started bringing in less revenue because of our poor play on the field. When a guy cops out like that I don't believe he just wants the best for the team. He wants money and if Parcells can get him a good purse after a couple years the Dolphins ownership will turn hands shortly thereafter and if not (god willing) the guy will drop us like a feather.

LOL

Or u can blame his injuries/size and the fact that he wanted to leave? Your choice.

I still find it funny how some didn't see this coming when Parcells was hired

My point is complaining about it will not change anything. Also how exactly is wayne supposed to become a football expert. He is what he is. The JJ hire and the saban hire were arguably the hotest prospects around at the time. What else was he to do? Wayne is not this teams problem. We have been very close to the cap every year. Wayne upgrades the stadium and facilities. He does what good owners do pay for what is needed and stay out of the way. I loved zach but he is gone. Move on gezzz. If he goes to another team what really should we do? Have a pity party. If I can get over Danny Marino leaving I can get over Zach. I am going to. You have a choice how you want to react to things. This is just my humble opinoin. You have the right to think the way you want. If it works for you great, who am I to inject logic, reason and pragmatisim to the argument.

All you guys trashing Wayne were the same ones complimenting him on those moves. It's a bit coward like to sit back and point the finger at Wayne NOW when you were backing him before. All the man does is open his wallet trying to make us better.

can't cut a staple of our defense like that. he played his heart out for us. watch him end up on the pats only for us to regret it.

Why not blame Zach Thomas for sitting out when many people thought it wasn't a serious injury?

I'm not going to blame Parcells and Ireland for helping this team rebuild the right way. Yes it hurts to see Thomas go but that's life. If we get rid of Jason Taylor, that'll hurt too. But in the long run this team needs to get younger. And a linebacker way past his prime who was injured last season isn't someone I want on this team.

There's no reason to hate on Tunaland. They did what was necessary...Cam or Saban or even Wanny (ok, maybe he would have screwed it up) would have had to do the same thing this year. Didn't anyone else see what happens to aging players with concussion issues last year with Green ??

The bottom line is that they did what was right for the Fins and was best for Zach. I think we all agree he should be retiring, but that is his choice now. He's an aging player who plays arguably the most physical position in the game, (I mean that his position has the more violent collisions), he has lost a step and his strength has always been that quickness he plays with, and his salary was prohibitive to keeping him on. To ask for a pay cut would have been a real slap in the face to him (and, let's face it, it appears that he didn't offer one either) and to hold on to him hoping to get an at best lower round pick if at all from him in a trade would have been degrading and held little purpose for the team going forward. This was the right move and the right reasons. There is no blame to anyone except to Wanny for never putting a team around the great D that JJ set up...

BTW, there are at least 40 threads that talk basically about the same stuff with Zach....
