Yeah, Boomer always seems to be an okay guy... but sometimes people seem to take stuff he says the wrong way.

Remember how he just rubbed Dan Dierdorf the wrong way when they were co-commentators? Dierdorf constantly wanted to kill Boomer, and I never heard Boomer saying anything that unreasonable. Maybe there's something we're missing about him, I don;t know.
 
my dad went to school with boomer at maryland..and he said he was a real arrogant jerk

Boomer never won a super bowl either, at least I don't think. I'm sure what he ment was like Dan Marino Manning will put up the stats and be great but just never have the supporting cast, Like Dan.
 
The funny thing about this whole clip . . . . . . Boomer now REALLY looks stupid for making a statement like that. Forget the cheap-shot he took at Dan, Dan handled that fine. Boomer looks like a moron because he makes the statement that P.Manning will never get to the Superbowl. Uhhh Boomer, wrong again. From what I understand Boomer and Dan a pretty decent friends, they do a lot of work for charities and special events together. But I think he's one of those "friends" that love to try and public embarrass you when you're not expecting it. Nice friend!
I understood his point, but he did such a terrible job trying to get there, that the whole message was lost in the stupid statement.

I think he's just that guy who makes dumb *** comments, but he doesn't realize thas what he's saying is an insult.
