I don't think there's any doubt that Moore will be the week 1 starter.

Matt Moore kind of reminds me of Matt Cassel out there. He's definitely looser than the robotic Henne.

I'm certain that if Jake Long were blocking and Marshall were running a route, their presence alone would have prevented Henne from throwing a pick right to the defense. It's not like he has ever done that with them in the game...oh wait.

Jake Long would throw it for him, thats why left tackle is the most important position in team sports.

Henne was playing with his first string receiver against the other team's second team. Moore was playing with our second and third team receivers against the same.

Moore might be given the chance to start next week and get Marshall/Bush to help him out. If that happens and he plays well, he's our week 1 starter. I think it's happening.

I think that in itself would be a huge concession by Sparano. All the talk going into tonight was that Henne was the unquestioned starter, or at least we never heard the words "QB competition". If Sparano starts Moore, then he is pretty much making it a competition, even if he doesn't say so.

I'm not expecting it though.

Either way this game had to be a huge confidence booster for Moore. He's spent less time in Daboll's offense than Henne has and he's the one that looks more natural in it.

Henne may have had a bit more time in Daboll's offense, but he's also been playing with most of these players for years. Moore has been playing with these guys for a week, which makes it all the Moore impressive.

I watch Henne play: I'm worried every single time.
I watch Moore play: I'm strangely at ease.

Obviously Matt Moore hasn't done enough to unseat Henne in the first pre-season game...but if he outperforms him again, watch out Chad ain't worth a penny Henne.
