dont drink the matt moore kool aid

please dont do it, please dont, he threw a td against a 2nd and 3rd string defense

It's not just the TD. It's eluding the rush and finding guys downfield. I was pretty impressed by his first throw downfield, I believe to Wallace in traffic. Henne doesn't make that throw.

It also was him not throwing the ball directly to defenders that made him look more impressive than Henne.

moore i like how he avoids pressure though that interception he threw in triple coverage
not exactly a smart play though it did hit his receivers hands...

It was a touch overthrown but whoever the receiver was (I couldn't tell) really made a terrible play on the ball. He was between the defender and the ball and that ball never should have gotten to the defender.

He's Thigpen part duex. He will throw it up for grabs. But if he starts Brandon Marshall is a good guy to have for that.

moore looked ok on the passes he could actually throw but id still take henne over moore

It was Marlon Moore, he failed miserably on that. The ball was placed perfectly (although into double coverage) still Marlon had by far the best play on that pass and blew it then it fell into the defenders hands.

I'd much rather have a QB who throws an interception from time to time because he's throwing it up for grabs downfield than a QB who throws as many or more picks by throwing them straight to the defender and doesn't consistently make any kind of downfield plays.

If that's the case then in confirms what I already thought about Moore based on last year's action. He's got some great speed but he lacks one of the essential tools that a receiver needs, which is ability to adjust to the ball and run routes. He doesn't have it and its a shame, because I really like his hustle and his speed.
