"Is it important to have one of those guys [a star receiver]? Eh," Sparano said, wearing the expression of someone who'd been asked if he wanted a deep-tissue massage from Fabio. "Yeah, I've been in some situations where we've had that kind of guy and not finished in the top 10 in offense.

Sparano doesn't think Miami needs any big name WRs and is happy with our current skill position player situation.

I personally couldn't agree more. It would be nice to find a true #1 WR via the draft, but right now we have many more priorities to fill. Defense seems to be the main concern as we will be weak at LB and in the Seconadry. Although it would be nice to find another Fitzgerald, but that is very unlikely.

interesting thread; nice read

I would be inclined to pick up Brown from Balto. & if there w/ another offer on the table it would be for Boldin @ WR, if that were doable.

and the FrontOffice would probably be right
but if there were a second deal, Boldin would be the only one that I could rationalize

Great answer from Sparano and again I doubt a WR on the first day..., this is Ginn's year to set himself apart..., Bess is going to be our most reliable guy and Grag Camarillo shouild be back... no?

thats fine with me, we need to address other positions...wr can be dealt with in the draft..maybe kenny britt?? who knows

Good. We have four young receivers with a lot of potential. Another year with Pennington and they will improve.

You should take a look at the date of the article. If it was written more than a day ago, liklihood is that it has already been posted. But thanks for the info.

Good Article. Agree totally. We have descent receivers who will grow and can pick up another in the draft. seems lately big name receivers cause more problems than anything: burress, TO, johnson, etc
