Tom Brady is one year younger at 35 years old. How many years you think he's got?

And lets say he only does have 3 years. its 3 years of contention. So going into this offseason we should be thinking about 2016? Cmon Man!

His base salary to the colts is 7 mil for 2012 (hence the huge 28M roster bonus). This was decided before he got his 2nd and 3rd surgeries I believe (he knew he was going to get at least 1 surgery). I don't see why that base salary couldn't be lowered some more to 4-5M knowing what we know now. give him the rest of the money if he finishes the season with the majority of starts. Done and done.

So is regurgitating what media outlets have been saying. I will take the word of a doctor over the media any day. Thanks for the post, however, this is just getting repetitive.

I have a sick feeling that this is going to turn into another Drew Brees scenario...Miami passes on Payton and he goes off to some team and excels for 2-3 more years.

No, this is called pointing out. People on this board seem to have forgotten that. Nerve regeneration that goes with this is no secret.

I haven't forgotten it, it's pointed out by the media constantly. I don't follow the media and the Dr.'s say he is cleared and that he could be playing by September. That's all I am trying to say. I want to take a chance on him with an incentive laden contract. This could be the turning point for the Dolphins in my opinion. Draft a QB and keep Matt Moore on the roster. Just in case.
