Dont get tooo excited with JL yet ppl!

Has anyone thought about the fact that just b/c we opened up contract talks with JL it doesnt mean we want him number 1? Maybe we are talking to see what he is wanting and in what range so when we get into discussions with a team regarding a trade or that we already have we can tell them waht the player is looking for or the fact that its to make CHRIS LONGs AGENT sweat a lil bit and take a lower offer. This is done for many reasons and thats just 2 of them that i mentioned that can be possibly the reason. Imagine what the BRAINS OF THIS team have in mind. So ppl dont get too excited b/c it sitll might be to make CL sweat and take a lower price just to be the number 1 pick or what not.

Think outside the box ppl. BP is not a black and white guy, hes full of grey. Expect to see things in grey and not jsut in black and white.

Im honeslty torn btw many players at that spot if we dont trade down so I am all for whoever we get i trust them (or at least i hope i can).

there is no such thing as an i told ya so off just contract talks. if you didnt realize we are goin to talk to long and dorsey any time now as well. so its making your i told ya so very pointless and lame.

Taken by itse;f you are right. But, add in the second part of that story and the "no scheduled talks with Chris Long" gives all indications that this is legit. If you have the #1 overall pick and can't/won't trade out - then smoke screens serve no purpose whatsoever.
 
I think Jake will be the pick as long as his agent is reasonable

if his agent blinks, it is onto Chris' agent

drop the soap doesn't seem to be happy about Jake. I wanted Chris Long as well, but you won't see me complaining about Jake Long. That would be simply foolish.
 
i really dont understand.. i think that any of the 3 or players we are expected to take i would be happy.. as long as we get someone who can actually start and make a difference for us i am in favor of

I agree with you. Look how far we are before the draft and we are already negotiating with 2 players that we know of and we find out in the same day. Chris Long's agent will be mentioned within a week, but the last one mentioned. watch.

me neither. i didnt cry i just stated some insight. ppl are upset now so whoever mentioned C L they say they are crying.
