if it was really possible for someone to go in and instruct the team to tank games and lose on purpose, I'd say do it. you really think this team is going to somehow go on a 12-2 run after the bye? I mean that is total delusion. So what then, they eek out 4 or 5 wins the rest of the way? and then what? we pick 4th or something and watch as the Colts, who have had Manning for the last decade and know what a QB like that can do, pick first and they get to enjoy elite QB play for the next decade, too. we'll all vomit the next time we're on MNF against the Luck lead Colts and he beats us like Manning did.

beyond that, they need to start thinking about clearing house in the place. it farking stinks! trade guys and stock up and draft picks! fire this idiot coach already! don't wait, do it now. make nolan or whoever interim, it doesn't matter. begin negotiations with his replacement right away and have all this squared away before the season ends so they can get to work on the draft and free agency moves.
