The most reliable news about the Brees situation will come by radio, TV, and Internet. It is too easy to confuse the timeline of events if one accepts every print story that comes down, most of that is from yesterday.

The LATEST reports have Brees getting closer and closer to signing with the Dolphins. The media comments this morning all are indicating that he will speed up the timetable of his decision and not wait long. That indicates we are getting closer to getting him.

I just signed on for the first time today. Where are the latest reports coming from? :confused:
 
Yes.The printed press is sometimes a rewritten older story even if it has a fresh date.I have fallen into that trap a few times.

Its better to listen to ESPN or the local radio stations where the stories originate from.
 
NOT from the Herald. The culp lovers are propagandizing and trying to make it looks like Brees is wavering because of something that was written yesterday. Everything from this morning that we have heard indicates he is progressing toward the Miami offer and will make a decision about what to do sooner than expected, which indicates he is hearing the right things from his meetings with the Dolphins.

I'm looking for those reports as well Nub. I don't see anything actually new about the whole situation, just speculation.
