I am certainly not an advocate of Carr or Winston but you need to realize that you are making a very bad point. The 49er defense is ranked 14. The NE defense and our starting QB hung 0 points on NE. It is even worse when you look at the Bengals defense. They are dead last and our starting offense came out -1 in that game.

You can criticize this "anyone but Tannehill" if you want to but you have to counter that with better reasons. But you also will be hard pressed to find better reasons.
