I'm glad we won and I'm hyped about that, but I don't like the way we played the game for three quarters. Chris Chambers is a microcosm of the team in general -- he drops seven balls but sets records for catches and yards on the game. His lapses in concentration were symptomatic of what the rest of the team appeared to be suffering from for three quarters -- no fire.

If it can all of the sudden appear in the fourth quarter, why can't we do it the whole game?

The team was still hungover from the party on the flight home from Oakland last week. Glad they finally got their bearings.

Just going with the stat CBS posted during the game.

------

The Stat was for all Dolphins Receivers.. The Anouncers got confused and said it was for Chambers.. But if you look at the graphic.. it said Dolphin Receivers..

He still had alot of drops though.

I don't know, but I think he made up for the drops with his 4th quarter performance today! Hopefully this is the start of the great Dolphins turnaround! :beerbang:

OK thanks -- didn't notice that when they posted it.

Still, some of Chambers's drops looked AWFUL. They weren't even tough catches.

dude, stop going from thread to thread with your chambers and his 7 drops BS.... the guy did not drop 7 passes get over it. It's almost like your wishing it to be true.

Exactly what I was thinking.

I think its a tough call on this one. I would say most, including myself, fans were flipping out about the 1st 3 quarters. We didnt play well, plain and simple. I followed some posts here on finheaven and saw alot of blame passed to the oline, dropped passes and a bad job of prepartion by the coaching staff. And while all that may have been true, can't we give credit where credit is due.

We pulled out an unprobable win, something we couldn't do 5 weeks ago (against NE and Atl). I would say thats a step in the right direction. So, if we as fans are gonna kill Saban and the players for what happened in the 1st 3 quarters, shouldnt we give credit to them for making adjustments and making plays int eh 4th quarter. I mean, the oline couldnt block for 3 quarters, yet they mustered up enough guts to protect Sage in the 4th quarter. Chambers had drops, but he made the plays he needed to to win help win the game. And shouldn't the coaching staff get some credit for the play in the 4th quarter, and all the second half adjustments....considering Buffalos only points after the 1st quarter was a safety. I dont know, not criticising anything your saying specifically, I guess this is more for the fans who were killing Nick and players throughout this game.

It said 7 drops your right. But that was for the team I think.

im not being the thread police i just don't like fans like you jumpin around from thread to thread trying to bad mouth a guy who had a great game with stats that are inaccurate. Know what your talking about or don't talk. Period. Don't try to bring fans down after a big win.
