...I am really disappointed with the picks tonight. I was all for Tannehill yesterday. But going into tonight and seeing how things were working out, I was really hoping we'd pick between Stephen Hill, Lavonte David, Reuben Randle, or Vinny Curry in RD2. Then in the 3rd round, I wanted Mohamed Sanu, Ronnell Lewis, Sean Spence, Markelle Martin, or Brandon Boykin. Instead, we get a soft OT, project DE, and one-dimensional TE. I hope I'm wrong on these guys, but I'm not feeling too good about the draft right now.

Well I guess since YOU of all people didn't like the picks, we might as well give up on them before they play a snap in the NFL.

man come on. jonathon martin should have been the second tackle taken in the draft. we got a steal. vernon im not excited about, and egnew is legit

This teams success rides and dies on Tannehill.

We are really just treading water until he is ready. We can afford to take a project player or two while we do so.

The only pick i personally have a problem with is Martin. He is a good player and we got great value for him. But we got into this mess by passing on talented playmakers so we could draft linemen. Not thrilled we did it all over again. Regardless, even with Martin situation, this team was not going to be fixed in a single draft class. Anyone who thought that was delusional. The future looks alot brighter now than it did a few weeks ago, but this upcoming season is going to be brutal. We'll have a chance at more wideouts in next years draft.

even tho i wanted an elite rusher, martin is a great pick. it sures up the swinging door at rt. and he is athletic for a 315 lber and he was in a wco

I thought this was one of the best drafts in a while.

Always a group of people who feel the way you do every year. Nothing new.

Soft OT??? Are you kidding me.. He was protecting Andrew Luck and did a great job, He was rated as a 1st round pick. We got a steal...
Plus, New England, Jets, and mostly Buffalo now having elite pass rushers, we needed to draft this guy.

The only one-dimensional thing I see is your post right now... Sorry

This is the best draft Ireland has had. Provided he chooses wisely from the remaining WR crop. Looking at it from this immediate perspective, this is better than it's ever been.

I am a bit confused, I know gates is raw, and bess had an off year and hartline is well hartline but this is supposed to be a west coast offense- correct me if I am wrong but I thought you needed guys that can catch out of the backfield (bush) a good reciving TE (egnew) and WRs that have good hands (bess, hartline)

Either I missed something and Bush/Bess got cut- why are people upset over not drafting a WR?
I am sure I would be the same if we were running the same offense as last season but not while we are playing WCO

I guess i am just way too old and I am missing something or plain dont understand

Scheme doesnt cover up everything. Talent is required. Right now, our wideout's just aren't talented enough. We need someone who can break a game open or who can at least consistently score points.

The most famous WCO in the history of the league was the 49'ers. They had guy named Jerry Rice. Just because we changed "philosophies" doesnt mean we should just completely write off the position.
