Report: Raiders coach Cable fought assistant

According to Nancy Gay of AOL NFL Fanhouse, Raiders head coach Tom Cable fractured the jaw of defensive assistant Randy Hanson during a fight early in training camp.
"It was Cable who hit him," a source said. "Hanson never saw it coming." Hanson's refusal to reveal his attacker's identity means Cable probably won't be charged with a crime. He could've been hit with felony charges. Napa police consider the case closed, "unless we are re-contacted by the victim, and the victim...want(s) us to follow through and pursue an investigation." Hanson also had problems with ex-Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin in 2008. Aug. 17

How can Cable physically assault a member of his staff and still keep his job/not be prosecuted? (Obviously I know how but it's a rhetorical question)

That's pathetic! Imagine any of us being blindsided by our boss and having our jaw fractured. It's ridiculous Cable is going to get away with this.
