Henne didnt expect to go into this game, he had no gameplan, and didnt get much help from ted ginn and some of the other recievers, not to mention the o-line. give him more than just a second half before you annoint him a total bust.

I agree. Now he will have a week to prepare and get first team reps. Let's see how he does this week at home against Buffalo.

I agree as well. When we were still in this game Ginny boy dropped two catchable first downs and pretty much helped with a 3 and out. Then the D folded as expected. I for one am excited to see what we have in Henne, and in no way did I ever wish Pennington to get hurt. I'm just happy we'll find out sooner than later on Henne. If you think this year is a playoff year or anything else, your dreaming, so we might as well as see what we have at our so called future QB. Let's just hope we finally open up the offense b/c I can't watch our dink and dunk offense much longer. Good luck Henne.

i kind of feel sorry for henne because his number one wideout is dropping easy catchable balls. for god sakes ginn catch the damn ball. overall, henne played decent he will improve each week. at least defenses won't stack the box against us.

Thank you for making this thread, I'm sick of the people here freaking out and writing off Henne after 1/2 of a game. Let's see him play from start to finish for a few games before we really try to evaluate him.

edit: Henning never really trusted Henne to air it out either, as evident in the dump pass (no deep routes) on 3rd and 19... we really need to start taking chances on 1st and 2nd downs throwing it downfield because Henne has some arm strength and the coaches need to see what they have in him.

I hope your right. If he keeps staring down receivers, he will have alot of TD's this year. Unfortunately to the other team.

thanks you...Flacco couldnt get out of his own way.....Manning threw like 29ints.....rivers motion and tendencies stuck around for 2 years even with all the weapons he had...he will take his lumps and he learned learned today....and we seriously need to open the playbook and let him fling it

but what do i know you "EXPERTS" want to kill a guy after 24 nfl passes...THIS ISNT MADDEN you can just sub a guy and he come in throw for 300 and 4 tds

Any diehard Michigan Wolverine fans in here? I didn't see hardly any Michigan games with Henne over the last 5 years. What do us Dolphins fans have to look forward to with Henne if Pennington is out for a while?

Is Henne the "next Marino" or just another QB like the rest of the ones we've had since Marino? I'm rooting for him. Let's hope he's learned a lot since he got drafted. He'll need it. Now he has to play with REAL bullets flying in the big, bad NFL against very tough competition like we've seen so far this season. I hope he's ready.

This. I also wonder if any of you remember the years Rivers sat on the bench and Drew Brees was terrible with the Chargers, and look at him now.

Penny > Henne Let's hope the injury is not serious. Henne not ready for primetime but hope he is someday...

With everyone saying how hes going to get full games now, has anything been said of Penny's status? I like Penny, but I am one for seeing Henne as well. But has there been any word on the situation yet?

By watching the replay of Pennington's injury, I couldn't really see HOW he injured it. Did he re-injure the rotator cuff or what? Did he hit a player's helmet with his hand or did he just fall on the arm wrong?

True, it is too early to know Penny's status, and if he can't go it would be a big blow leadership wise, but Henne is the only one that has the ability to stretch the field, something opposing defenses haven't had to respect because it wasn't happening.

Yea he came up holding his wrist but the announcers said it was a shoulder injury, the same one he's injured in the past.
