Dont Trash Ted Ginn Jr.,......At Least Not Yet

Some people have been trashing Ginn because he didn't show "#9 overall gameplay".Why is that?Becuase Ginn was only thrown to 36 times.Guess how many he caught?34.Only 2 dropped balls for Ginn,to me,thats better than most starting recievers can say.Ginn didnt se the ball much.For some strange reason,Beck/Lemon/Green thought a guy wearing a number 86 dolphins jersey was a good target to throw to and catch the ball.

Trust me,Ginn could match and go beyond anything Marty got this year,just cut Marty and move Ginn to #1 receiver and you'll see a #9 overall game-play

I like the Ginn pick and i think he will be a good player in this league but you gotta give him some time. Adjusting to the NFL isnt as easy folding clothes at GAP. I think they have to find a way to get him, ronnie and possibly LoBook (as 3rd WR) the ball as much as possible. they have to use his speed as an advantage by throwing the ball downfield and yes i know the qb needs some time and i think we will see that this year. I am not saying we will see it consistently, i am hoping but I think our o line will be good enough this year for our qb to have a chance to make a play.

What a great find. I love Ginn, have his jersey, and that is a great stat...and in some ways...a bad one!

really thats dumb he is a good WR i think he has already Proven him self and if he was thrown two 36 time and only 2 were incomplete that doesnt always mean that they were drops maybe they were over thrown but maybe they were drops

Nobody talked trash about him they just disagreed with the pick.
I would rather have taken Quinn then Rice but its only my opinion.

cause i see people saying,"Ginn is not even a first round pick"and"If we needed a KR/PR we could have waited in the later rounds"....

I stand by as a receiver Rice will be a better NFL player and that Quinn will be a very good NFL QB. Will I be wrong, hey thats why they play the games.

People also forget that he was a little gimpy and it takes a while to get over the foot injury he had. I think with a year of the NFL he will be back strong next year and same for Derek Hagan.

I don't like the pick but I will concede:

1. all things considered he did really well as a receiver

2. he showed improvement throughout the year

3. he has what it takes between the ears to succeed
