On August 24th, 2014, the
Dallas Cowboys played a preseason game at Sun Life Stadium, against the
Miami Dolphins. Although the game, as is the case with most preseason games, was largely unremarkable, an undrafted rookie cornerback out of Oklahoma State, was making plays all over the field for the Cowboys.
His name was Tyler Patmon, and we thought at the time, why don't the Dolphins find guys like this ? Patmon pulled down two interceptions in that game, one of which he returned for a Dallas touchdown. When he became available this Spring, the Dolphins had the good sense to sign him and invite him to training camp.
