On August 24th, 2014, the Dallas Cowboys played a preseason game at Sun Life Stadium, against the Miami Dolphins. Although the game, as is the case with most preseason games, was largely unremarkable, an undrafted rookie cornerback out of Oklahoma State, was making plays all over the field for the Cowboys.
His name was Tyler Patmon, and we thought at the time, why don't the Dolphins find guys like this ? Patmon pulled down two interceptions in that game, one of which he returned for a Dallas touchdown. When he became available this Spring, the Dolphins had the good sense to sign him and invite him to training camp.

Hoping someone emerges as the corner opposite maxwell.

No offense to that dude, but if he becomes a major player for us it will probably be more indicative of the guys in front of him than his performance.

We've had a few pre-season All-Stars that never made the cut during the season. If he can play, I hope he sticks.

So he made plays in 2014 in a preseason game vs the Mighty Dolphins. What are his regular season stats?

Dolphins make nobodies look like stars. Dolphins sign said nobodies having been thoroughly impressed. And around we go...

I remember reading about how awesome Dallas Thomas was last preseason. :idk:

" Cowboys waived CB Tyler Patmon.
A second-year UDFA, Patmon spent a lot of time in the slot this season, but was routinely burned. The Dallas Morning News reports Patmon was cut loose because he wasn't physical enough. The Cowboys want to evaluate some other players down the stretch of a lost year." ...Todd Archer

5'10"....188 lbs.

Maybe, Be surprised...

I don't think it would be difficult to underestimate him when I didn't know who he was before I opened the thread.

Good luck to him.

slot corner....if he makes it that means ifos not even close to being right

Is that the game where their old RB Phillip Tanner wrecked us on the ground for like 100 something?
