Don't Understand Criticism of Our Team and the Pass we Give to the Patriot's Refs

Is that why the refs called a fairly obscure special teams penalty on the Patriots to help the Jets win last week? I'm not defending the refs, but this conspiracy theory/paranoia crap is old. Every team's fans think the refs are out to get their team. Those were bad calls today and the Dolphins' performance in the second half was equally bad, or worse.

I watched that game, the refs ROBBED the Jets of a TD on probably the best throw of Geno's NFL career on a bogus offensive PI call. That game never should have gone to OT so if anything the Patriots were the beneficiaries of the refs in that game too. And calling a LEGIT penalty does not balance that out, no matter how obscure you think the rule is. Also, if Rex Ryan didn't point it out to the refs before it happened they probably never would have called it.

Team stunk in the second half but anyone who accepts that absolutely blatantly crooked officiating with "well, **** happens" is a kind of crazy I'll never understand.

I've been fighting for years my realization that the NFL is fixed to some extent, but today it's just impossible to ignore. Folks, you can call me a lunatic, but it just dawned on me that we're being punished for not helping to fund a new stadium for the cats who pull the strings on this thing. Too much money involved.

I know some of the younger posters on here won't want to believe that people will do crooked things for money, and some of the older posters will want to believe that the NFL 'shield' stands for something that's bigger than cash, but I've seen enough.

Call me a loon if you like, but I've always believed in looking at the evidence I've been presented and then reaching a conclusion that fits what I've been shown.

What I've been shown is a bunch of crooks.

Heimer, I think the answer is actually easier than that. Still crooked, but easier. Occam's Razor and all.

Money. Refs guaranteeing the line on a specific game. Not so much a vendetta against Miami as simple personal greed. Way too much money floating around for those phantom PI calls to be coincidental. And the non-calls throughout the game -- some egregious -- against the Fins. And the bizarre batting call when it was beyond obvious that he was throwing his arm out and bringing it in, in attempt to gather the ball -- a couple angles really showed that. This much is true: NE was dead in the water until some AMAZINGLY freaky and one-sided calls (and non-calls) started raining down like manna from heaven.

So blatant. NFL refs need accountability. Owners should demand it. And the ones that fight it -- that will tell you who is already in the "system."

people here loose objectivity. those absolutely terrible calls disrupted the game. I agree 100% with this thread, people blame the dolphins for not scoring in the second half but playing the pats on their field and the refs against us is no easy task. and football is all about rhythm and momentum those calls simply destroyed everything.

regardless of the state of our team and its issues, the league is fixed. Why this doesnt bother people is beyond me. The integrity of the league is shot and I emailed this as much to Goodell.

the nfl cannot abide by having the pats, excuse me the "Precious" lose at home to the Dolphins. Anyone who watched that game knows the Dolphins got ****** by the refs!!!

Mentally tough teams are able to overcome even the worst of calls. We are not a mentally tough team and therefore do not. The blame is solely on the team, not on the refs. Excuses will not help us to win
I know we made mistakes, but come on! We won that game.

This Article explains it well.

We weren't perfect, but we played well enough to win this road game.

Stop attacking Dolphins and direct your fury at the NFL!
