Ok please dont give me heat for this.. i would be extremely mad.. but it could be a possiblitiy... just look at the reasons

1. Bill Parcells really pushed to get marion barber III from dallas to our team earlier this year.

2. I know it was in the 6th round but he drafted 2 running backs when we had other glaring needs (secondary)

3. He is actually giving ricky williams a chance (wouldn't think he would)

4. Ronnie is injury plagued (every year since in the league)

5. Ronnie is in prime and could get good value, and it seems like this new regime of FO is really looking to clean house from the old era and put "his guys" in there.. i mean look he drafted 2 de's and brought in 2 dts in FA when i think Wright and Soliai are good from last year

i would hate to see it, and im sorry for saying it, but it def could be a possibility :shakeno:

yes, yes it was, and that's all there is to it. two interesting prospects real late in the draft that provide depth and possible change of pace.

yeah but if your watching the draft, when they were talking about mike hart, one of the guys said "i was talking to Bill Parcells earlier and he said you dont need to draft a rb in day one.. you can find starters in day 2" (ala marion barber)

The Steelers drafted Rashasrd Mendenhall, that MUST mean they are going to trade Willie Parker....LMFAO

Didnt Brown tear his ACL last season? Thats never a good injury, especially for a RB.

Ronnie may never be the same. Ricky is a toke away from being banned. I think I heard we traded Booker. The last guy is potentially a FB? So, overall, it makes sense to me to stock pile key spots when the starters have question marks against them. 4 RBs is not too bad when we don't have a true, clear, starter.

Two running backs in the 6th round does not mean we are going to trade our #1 back who was picked #2 overall in the 2005 draft.

These were depth moves, nothing else. Ronnie and Ricky are both recovering from injuries. While both are expected back for the season, they need to have some insurance. Lorenzo Booker was not a starting calibar running back, just a third down back, so he was shipped out. Patrick Cobbs is OK, but not much potential.

We drafted two guys who will battle it out for the #3 job and could be nice change of pace backs. Also, Hilliard has a chance to move to FB, which could mean the end of Mauia is near.

I just gotta say it would be hillarious. Brown is a good player no doubt, but unlike most people around here Im not in love with the guy. I dont think we can trade him now based on what we have.

All four of our backs are major question marks. Brown cant stay healthy. Ricky cant stay clean and even if he does we need to see him be effective again before we can say for sure he is still a good runner. And the other 2 guys are 6th round picks. Need to see em play before we can say we should trade Ronnie.

Even if one of them is good we still should keep Ronnie. Ronnie seems to me like a Parcells type runner. Big guy with a bruising style who can catch screens and things. Has adequate speed. I dont see us trading Ronnie. I would find it humorous though.

....unless you already have a bona fide top 5 player at the position on the team when you join them.

well i think we drafted 2 guys to battle it out for #2 spot.. ricky doesnt deserve that i dont know why ppl say he does..

We drafted depth. With the type of team they are putting together we are going to need depth at runningback.
