Really is annoying the comments in this forum. We going to loose some games but eventually Henne will pick it up. I hope Thigpen would never see the field.

Whoa! A literary disaster!

Once I deciphered what I THINK you meant, here is my response. Dude, welcome to FH: where Dolphin players are fads and are gone quicker than they came. We are ALL worse than 14 year old girls and their latest favorite Disney show. Thigpen is our Hannah Montana right now and it will last for about 3 weeks, or til he gets his first INT, then we will search for our new pet. This pretty much applies to any football fan, regardless of team. We are all man-children, and thats just the way it is!

Why do you think Madden sells so many games, regardless of how bad they make it? Because we can all fulfill our fantasies and trade out whoever is doing bad at the time. You should see how good Pat White is on MY Fins, and how well Ronnie Brown and Adrian Peterson run the wildcat! :chuckle:

Let's use some common sense here. Thigpen was brought in to be a seasoned backup for Henne, not to start. While he has decent skills, he doesn't have the whole package to be a franchise QB. But he'll provide solid backup experience in case something happens to Henne or in case Henne bombs and throws countless INT's and gets no passing yards. I think they'll give Henne plenty of time to develop into the role and not yank him week to week. Plus you have to realize, Thigpen doesn't know the offense and will take weeks to get up to speed on the plays, let alone the personnel. They weren't going to just keep only Henne and White as our QB's with 0 experience. And no other decent vet was out there on f/a, so a trade for hopefully a late round pick, was a decent move.

what? no..thigpen was brought in to compete..what package does henne have to be a franchise qb that you have seen so far...lets deal with what we have seen so far and not what u want to see..I promise you if henne keeps throwing picks he wont be starting for long.. bet on that.

Yes, I really want to see what Henne can do as a starter for the next 13 games. If they start playing musical chairs with the QB postion the fish are doomed big time. I hope management picked up Thigpen because he's not so good that there would be massive pressure to replace Henne after a bad game or two. With Garcia there would be a start Jeff movement as soon as he signed. Then again maybe Garcia just wanted too much money and the Eagles wanted too much in a trade.Who knows.
