Thats why I didnt bother posting in those threads talking about who are return man would be on kickoffs. Because the answer is NOBODY. With the tee on the 35, even the kickers with the weakest legs are going to kick touchbacks almost every time. Its a moot point who the return man is. Now punt returns are still an issue and if theyre smart, Reggie Bush will handle the duties most of the time. Bess was a joke last season.

This rule was put into place for one reason. To prevent the gunners on the kickoff fron colliding head first with the guys in the wedge. The competition committe first reduced the amount of players in the wedge and said they couldn't hold their arms together while running side by side and concussions still happened. This is now just preventing those collisions by eleminating the entire return.

This is due to improper technique. These guys go with their heads down , leading with helmet, so they can get the big hit. If they would keep their head up, and lead with their shoulders they'd be fine.

I'm not. Completely takes out special teams from the game. I heard next year they are doing away with kickoffs, and will just place the ball at the 20 yard line.
