I want to believe that Tua is enough if he has help and can stay healthy, but I can't get over that he doesn't win enough against the better teams. I don't like the way Grier/ McDaniel has built the team. Regardless, this is a new year, so I am hoping for the best. Looking forward to the draft and training camp. Let's go!

What a strange setting for an interview. McDaniel looks and most certainly sounds like Forrest Gump sitting on that bench.
Really hasn’t played bad vs good teams if you look at his individual play. Beating better teams requires a good team.
Tua’s good enough that a healthy Tua wins you probably around 9 wins the rest and how much of a contender you are depend on the rest of the team. Those are the games where the whole team matters to get those extra wins.
While Mahomes/allen/lamar on Miami last few years makes them better, they still wouldn’t be a valid contender. They just don’t have the oline or defense to compete and consistently beat better more complete teams.
Qb play is important but it doesn’t win you every game.
