SI.com's truth and rumors:

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports there is a chance that former Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper's rebuilt knee could keep him out the entire regular season with the Miami Dolphins.
-- St. Paul Pioneer Press

Perhaps this explains why your front office is still looking for a starting QB (Harrington) I thought you guys had a great medical team evaluating these QB's? after all Brees injury was a worry to them so why wouldnt they have checked Donte out with as much attention? You guys were seriously blasting the Saints for taking Brees but heck, he is ahead of schedule and is playing golf and throwing already. The "one-year deal" we gave Brees suddenly looks a whole lot better now doesnt it?. Now the Dolphins are looking to pick up Harrington. Culpepper may miss SIGNIFICANT time, Otherwise, why would Harrington be so eager to sign with Miami? Better get your Doctors to check him out aswell.

Thats funny because in Saints QB camp Brees was 'Practicing but not throwing balls'

What was he practicing exactly

Now did I say he threw at camp? No but he is throwing and playing golf and claiming he will be ready for training camp.

Sure...there's a chance... there's always a chance.
What they don't say, is that the chance of him not missing the entire season are higher....

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it strange that these reports are coming out of none other than Minnesota. Smells like more Vikings / Childress BS if you ask me....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Funny, I present you with an article and make you guys think about your past actions towards the Saints and all you can do is resort to adolesent name calling. Boo Hoo, my feelings are hurt.

Umm this article has not merit.. daunte will play this season. Also, getting Daunte was a much better deal then what new orleans paid brees. Culpepper is a much better qb than Brees and we got him for alot cheaper. Dont believe rumors. Saban has already said Culpepper is ahead of schedule. This article has no merit.

But what will Harrington and Daunte's combined contracts come to? If Culpepper was healthy you wouldnt have to look for another starter so did you actually save money by passing on Brees?
