Just found this article about Donte Stallworth. It says that he prefers Philly as his #1 choice, but it is unlikely that Philly will resign him before free agency begins. Worth noting..the article talks about Stallworth's ties to Miami with Mueller and his agent...he also says Miami is a place he'd be interested in playing

what a great pick up that would be. Maybe he can light a flame under chambers' A*s!

I bought the Daily News today, living in Philadelphia. It says that he wants to go to New England, San Fran or Miami. (if he doesn't resign with eagles)

C'mon this guy is Chambers in a different uniform-flashes of brilliance so bright that when he, in the end, lets you down (proves he sux*), you are devastated like the love of your life trampling your heart to bits:wink:

So if he's good for 5 games a year and chambers is good for 5 games a year than we just have to hope that it's different games.

No. If we wanted a problem player that drops passes, we should have just picked up TO.

He is faster than Chambers but like someone said with the 5 games comments he is always suffering from a nagging injury. Seems like a good guy though the people and fans down in Philly love him and his attitude when he got there.

there is a new concept that is going on in the nfl ,and its called the draft . dewayne jarrett is more consistant and would be a better aquisition or i would much rather have randy moss. the draft is where we should address the wr corp and the oline and dline. stallworth is aood player but i think a young guy like jarrett would be better for us.:cooldude:

I'd prefer to save our cap room to make plays at Dielman and Thomas.

Donte Stallworth is the perfect deep threat. He is one of the fastest wide receivers in the league, so if Randy Mueller is looking for speed he shouldn't have to look any further. Only question mark around Donte is how much money he is demanding and whether he can stay healthy. Having said that I would much rather sign Donte and spend our first rounder on someone other than Ted Ginn Jr. We could use some youth on the DL, another playmaker in the secondary, and o-line help.
