Donte Whitner named NFL rookie of the month!

I really wanted Donte Whitner on our team. That guy is an absolute beast. So far looking even better than Michael Huff.
 
its great to hear, but i am very surprised his stats get him rookie of the month.

18 tackles and 1 INT in 3 games (he didnt start week one).

i guess none of the other rookies are doing anything.

Good thing Marv and crew dont pay attention to people here and Mel Kiper.

No-one said he wouldnt be good. You should have traded back a few spots and still got him with some extra picks, thats all

Exactly, the fact that he's playing very well doesn't make it any better. It just means Marv could have still had him and an extra pick.

The thing is, no one knows that. Just like no one expected the Bills to draft him at 8.

What if Miami did like Whitner? The Bills traded down to 15, Miami or any team then trades up to 14 to get ahead of the Bills for Whitner. Who the heck knows what could have happened.

Would be nice to have another draft pick, but who knows what happens.
