I was just watching some videos of the phins couple years ago. then I reflect back to the last couple of weeks thinking how we are going to suck.. Then looking at the video remember a qb by the name of Fielder when he came on we all thought who the he'll is jay fielder or how about Lamar Smith. While I still don't know what the FO were smokin when the decided to have Reggie a every down back. Maybe Henne might turn out decent.

Fiedler and Lamar Smith were responsible for our deepest foray into the playoffs of late....but the difference is, they were playing with one of the best defenses in the league. I'm not discounting our defense this year, but it's something to consider. Also, our division was much weaker then in my opinion.
 
we actually had a really competitive division back then - i remember like 4 and 5 team races at points. we are right on par with the yets so idk why all the sudden we are considered such a huge underdog. as i've said before - every new season is an indpendent event. who knows what will happen.
 
All this talk of Bush being an every down back has to be fluff. We all know his proven weaknesses(injury prone, doesnt run well between the tackles) and he just doesnt translate to a 20+ carry guy. If these guys think he does, then we really are in a lot of trouble.

I remember Jay Fiedler sucking, I remember this team passing on Drew Brees and failing to trade for Matt Hasselback because they thought this turd was good enough.
 
Wannstasche is the worst HC/GM in dolphins history, he destroyed this franchise.
 
Back to back 11-5 seasons with Fielder, Smith and a sorry bunch of receivers. More talent with this offense.
