Dorsey Levens Returning to the Eagles

PHILADELPHIA - Free agent running back Dorsey Levens will return to the Philadelphia Eagles (news) and replace the injured Correll Buckhalter, Levens' agent said Sunday.

Did we know he was available? Could have been a viable option... oh well at least we know the eagles are out of the running for hearst or anderson.

The good news here is that Levens has a good level of experience in the Eagles system. This might make them decide not to go after whatever cast off Miami goes after...

Am i the only one who thought this thread was about Ken Dorsey and how he'll hopefully be the starter in San Fran when they saw "Dorsey?"

He was excellent last year for the Giants imo. One of the few bright spots. Still, I dont think Id like to see a RB brought in whos past his prime. Would like to see a young guy that still has a few years in front of him.

Injuries always prevented him from being as great as he could have been. He'll get a fair amount of carries because Westbrook can't handle a full load all year.
