With Atlanta securing the #3 pick, and rumors saying that they are interested in trading up to get Ryan, we might see a double trade down like the one Parcells did when he was with the Jests.

IF (and that's a big IF) we trade the #1 to the Falcons for #3, a 2nd round pick plus other picks, there are several scenarios that could develop (Feel free to write your own). One of them could be the Cowboys trading their two first rounders and their second rounder for #3 to get McFadden.

I know it's highly unlikely, but imagine having two 1st rounders and FOUR second ones.:hi5:

Sounds too good to be true. I'm not ruling it out but you know things like that don't really happen.

Let's keep our fingers crossed though.

The cowboys will not trade into the top 10 for Mcfadden. Get it out of your head everybody.

Boy that's sure tempting due to the number of picks you could get in the second round. However, I think Chris Long is too good to pass up unless you think he would still be there at #3.

Wouldn't you say that depends on much Jerry Jones loves his Ark players? I agree it's a long shot...but you can never say never when it comes to J. Jones.

Thats IF Parcells is wanting C. Long to begin with...he could trade back and go after C. Campbell who would be a perfect fit at a 3-4 DE.

he loves them so much that he has never spent a single draft pick on one. ;)

You mean yet...

after 17 or so drafts, and countless picks....it would be a mere coincidence at this point. Christ, you would have thought that he would have picked one by accident by now. ;) :winkwink:

I'd be happy with just one trade down... to trade down to #3 and still be able to get Dorsey or C. Long and not pay #1 money... that would be Christmas in April.

I think Atlanta has two 3rd round picks btw....

I think it's 2 seconds, with one leftover from the Schaub trade. Double checking the draft order right quick - they might have an extra third in there as well.

Well, if wiki is to be believed (it is the most up-to-date) then the Falcons have 2 second rounders, and only the single third rounder as of today.
