Just posted on Rotoworld by Adam Schefter tweet that Doug Maroone has opted out of his contract with Bills, think he would definitely be an upgrade to worthless Joe Philbin.

He's not any good either. I just wish Joe would quit too. Please save us from this eternal nightmare.

I actually think Marrone seemed like a pretty solid coach. The Bills are stacked with defensive talent but he did seem to get the most out of it. They gave us fits for two years.

That said, wow is this an indictment of EJ Manuel. They must have no confidence in him at all.

Apparently the Jets have interest according to ESPN:

Bills sources believe Marrone could have particular interest in the Jets, where he once served as offensive line coach for four years. Sources say the Jets will have strong interest in Marrone.

I hope they hire him. He is another middling coach just a step above Philbin. Bills fans wanted him gone anyway

Actually my read on it would be that Marrone wants to move on from Manuel -- his staff is the one that benched him, after all -- but that management gave him some kind of indication that they either want Manuel groomed or they otherwise don't like his plan at QB moving forward.

Why can't that happen to us? I wish Joe would quit too. His players quit a long time ago.

Could be. Either way, this reads like a slam on EJ.

Bills fans seem to be thrilled by this. A few are calling for Frank Reich to be the new coach. While others seem to think this is nothing good for EJ Manuel..... don't know about that.

When I think I am low because I am a Fins fan, the Bills appear.

He is a very good coach,

it's good news if he goes out of the division.

If he goes to the jests that would be the worst possible news.

Why would they be thrilled about this? They just went 9-7 with a top 3 defense and were very competitive in the division under Marrone. I don't get it.

Why does Ross even allow Philbin a say in this matter! Just fire Philbin and hire Gamble if thats what he wanted last year, and not waste another year of our time as fans. This idiot Philbin does not inspire confidence within his team, many are quitting on him...............would really like to hear Dan Marino's take on all this stuff.
