Will interview on Friday

@ArmandoSalguero: Former Buffalo HC Doug Marrone to interview with the Dolphins on Fri., same day as Dan Campbell. Marrone interviewing with Cleveland Thurs.

Not my number one choice but if he can get a really good OC and DC I would take him over two thirds of the names mentioned

The Buffalo thing doesnt bother me, if you dont want the head coach to leave dont give him an opt out with millions of dollars

This improved my view of him http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...ach-jacksonville-jaguars-offensive-line-coach sounds like my kind of guy, however if he found the atmosphere in Buff negative I am not sure he would like Miami much

Good football coach. Would cure a lot of ills that this team has had.

He is one of my nightmare hires. I think the only worse choice, for me, would be Mike Smith

Campbell over Marrone. Easy choice.

Experience...brings discipline....not his first rodeo so no learning on the job like with a rookie head coach. He is Top 3 on my list for sure.

Bringing in another turd

LOL....that was kind of funny Daytona.

I have no problem with Marrone. His personality is a bit suspect, but he is highly regarded in coaching circles. No harm in talking with him.......

Surpised by the amount of negativity, hardly a star name but preferble to someone like Mike Smith imo

I would take Smith over Marrone by a lot and I don't like Smith.

We need to compile a comprehensive list of who is not interviewing for the Dolphin's job.

1) Ted Kacyznski- Did not take his meds and missed his interview, he is no longer being considered.
2) Tupac- Ross believes that he is alive, but has yet to locate him.
3) Mike Shula- Playoffs?!?!?!, are we talking about playoffs???
4) Stephen Ross- Takes part in conducting interviews as an interviewer, but has yet to announce any interest in being in interviewee. Stay posted.
5) Elvis Presley- See #2

Yeah, I can tell from your comments that you are not a fan. He isn't my top choice, but I can understand why he is a candidate. I thought he did a good job in Buffalo and most comments I have seen about his X's & O's are pretty good. The knock is that he is abrasive. That isn't something that thrills me....but then......I think about that Brent Grimes interview about Miko and the other DB's hooting and hollering in the back ground acting like asses........and I'm ready to release the Kracken.

There is at least six great candidates for the job. Those two guys would be the 16th and 17th best choice. You can figure out the order of who is 16 or 17.
