If Gase *were* to bench Tannehill... Which one would you give a nod and why?

I'd go with Doughty and use Moore in the same capacity he now as a tutor/coach.
 
Either one, doesn't really matter. If he started Doughty most would get on him for "tanking". I guess Moore is his safest option.
 
Doughty because there's nothing to lose. We already know how good Moore is.
 
Just stop. Both are turds. Tannehill will play out the rest of the season and then they'll possibly (likely) consider drafting real talent, not late round schlubs.

I'd roll with Doughty. I wanna see what the local hometown kid who grew up 5 minutes from Dolphins TC in Davie can do. I bet his mind set would be that he wants to lead his favorite team who he grew up rooting for back to greatness.
 
Absolutely NOT to use Moore. We are not competing and we know what he is. If we are benching Tannehill, use Doughty; see what he's got.

I just wish we drafted Kuechley in 2012 and rolled with Moore after a pretty decent 2011 he had . . . We probably would be sitting here with a newer QB to throw in there by now.
 
I think you just play out the season with Tannehill and let Gase re-evaluate the situation in the offseason.

I would just leave tannehill in. He will continue to lose games for us. We might win and get a worse draft oivk with the other 2 qbs.
 
Moore until the season is officially lost, then Doughty.

Or Doughty now with the hopes that he is either great or he really sucks and we get a high draft pick.
 
Neither! If I have to see Matt Moore come in and play us out of draft picks I will go mental. This was a 5 win team at best going into the season and now we are showing to make a run at a top 5 pick. We need it! Tannebum traded away our middle rounds for Maxwell and his 8 million a year.
 
Go with the future like the Eagles did. Doughty has some natural ability (like pocket presence) that Tanny has never had. Play him!
 
Doughty, we let him get the experience with hopefully some pretty good growth, then draft a QB next year or FA pick up as a stop gap if we are not fully satisfied with whats coming out of college. That way next year we can get rid of Matt Moore. Doughty as our back up, will have more than enough experience to be a good back up and we have a good / decent starting QB from who knows, just someone else at this point!

Just put Darr in the Shotgun and quick kick on second down. Anything after that and it is just a matter of time till Bushrod ends up in the guys lap behind center. Amazing how we consistently can scout, evaluate and find such big men that can be tossed like rag dolls.
