This is a great tribute video to Julius "Dr. J" Erving, who is my favorite athlete ever, just slightly ahead of Dan Marino. I just loved watching him play for my Sixers....check it out:

I wonder if Pat Croce even wants back in. Because i dont think even his genius could fix this team right now. Or fill seats....

Nobody has ever played with the style and grace that the Doc did. He and Marino were the sports idols of my youth, and I'm thankful that at least Doc won a title.

Many people never got to see Dr. J play when he was in the ABA...he averaged over 30 points a game and 15+ rebounds...had it not been for him the NBA may have disappeared in the mid-70's.....forget about MJ and all the rest....Doc showed the way.
